For a long time, I have really been struggling to slow down, be in the moment, and enjoy life. Mornings are a particularly sacred time for me. They set the tone for the day, allow us to root deeply within, and be with ourselves.
What is not pictured in the video is my struggle to avoid technology during this time. It's so easy to lose an hour on my phone, replying to emails, DMs, etc. It's so easy to get sucked into my devices and lose sight of what really matters.
Who else struggles with this? This short video makes my mornings look perfect and idyllic, but often I fail to attain what I promote here. I am a work in progress--striving daily to do a little better. How about you?
My goal is to one day reach a point where I only interact with tech for a set time each day -- and every evening, I sit on the porch, watch the sun set, and sip tea. Sound good to anyone else?
