As I start my day, I notice a tweet the Dalai Lama made last night. He said:
Helping others brings deep satisfaction. No matter how powerful we may seem to be, our survival depends on the community. Clearly the community is crucial to individual happiness, so if we make others happy, we too derive benefit.
This is why I created this space on Patreon. Not only to be of service, but to start building community.
We need one another or thrive. In this crazy world, we need other humans near us who are also doing the good work of self-growth. We need a cohort of light-bringers.
So glad to be sharing space with you. Thank you for all that you contribute.

I feel like we are swimming in a cold, dark, mystifying sea of so much human evil that this cohort is needed even more than usual. Let us be a light in the darkness, a raft of safety on scary seas.
