Progress Update (January 2023)

Another month, another update!

First, the big news should be obvious. The latest build (0.11a) dropped for early access yesterday for all platforms (PC/Mac/Android). This update wound up being more than 2000 lines of script and 500+ images. A lot of this content was focused on an optional romance scene with Connor.

The next update will go into an optional romance with Nick and then a "none of the above" option. I've already started writing these and they should be a bit less complicated than Connor's. That's not due to a lack of interest on my part, but simply because in this update I decided to setup an optional monogamy path for Connor and Nick. They'll both have relationships with Alex if you don't go the monogamy route, but a lot of folks were asking for this option. I decided to include it but, for Connor, I felt that required a fairly serious conversation as it runs counter to how I have written him. But... I think it's actually going to work out really well.

There may be a few more typos than usual in this update as I wasn't able to run it by my usual proofreaders due to the complexity of the coding and script (it just wouldn't have made sense to them). So, apologies for any typos and, if you find any, please let me know over on Discord in the appropriate channel.

This is also the first update rendered almost entirely with the new graphics card. I can't tell you how much this saved my bacon. The images in one of the scenes had four characters in the shot as well as a lot of background objects. When I tried doing some test renders with my old 3080, it just gave up no matter what I did to try to save resources. The new card handled it like a beast, and I couldn't have acquired it without your support. So, thank you!

Now then... onward into 2023!
