PATREON UPGRADE/UPDATE

The Patreon is getting a big freshen up, new tiers are being added and old tiers are being upgraded!

-The level of tier will now be tied to increasing entries in the future ZEEPR’s which will be explained down below.

-As was mentioned in Chapter 8, the WALKERS are getting a brand-new exclusive video series which is 5 videos where we play through all Call of Duty Ghost Extinction maps!

-Also new to the WALKERS is you have a chance to force me and Jamison to play/review/add a game of your choosing into our new series The Tower!

-There are two new tiers! SPRINTER and SUPPORTER, these are predominately for extra support reasons. We want the majority of the rewards to live in the first two tiers but quite a few people have suggested at least creating the option to support further if someone so wishes. These tiers give you a shiny special name in our Discord/video credits and higher odds in the ZEEPR’s!

NEW EASTER EGG SELECTION SYSTEM. (THE ZEEPR’S)

It is time to explain the new Zombie Easter Egg Participation Raffle.

I think for a while we have needed a more clean/official way of selecting people for easter eggs rather than the mess I currently do through Discord and this will definitely become necessary come Black Ops 3, which seemingly has 100 people who want access to the 10 slots in that game. When Black Ops 3 starts we will be doing all Easter Egg selection stuff through Patreon and not Discord.

Starting in Black Ops 3 we will be running Zombie Easter Egg Participation Raffles! Otherwise known as the ZEEPR’s. I can do these using a random number generator or a more fun idea is using the game Marbles on Stream. A ZEEPR will not occur unless the demand exceeds a certain threshold of interest. I would imagine all of Black Ops 3, Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 4 are ZEEPR selections while WWII and Vanguard… maybe it’s not necessary.

The tier of support will allocate the number of entries/numbers/marbles you get in the raffle so the higher the tier of support, the more likely you are to get in to a specific easter egg but still nothing is guaranteed. It will all be down to luck in the end and a CRAWLER can still beat a SUPPORTER if the odds are in their favour.

All newcomers who have yet to participate in any easter egg will get an automatic +1 to the raffle. Black Ops 3 is in such demand that I think I will disallow anyone to be in multiple easter eggs for that game but that might be different for future games, all depends on the demand at the time.

A ZEEPR will be run per easter egg and your entries are usable every single time. For example a SPRINTER who has never been in an easter egg before will have 4 entries into every easter egg they are interested in until they get into one, then their entries will drop down to 3.

I have to admit that this initial system might not be perfect. There is a lot of things to balance here. The zombie series will only survive based on Patreon support so I think an advantage based on amount of support makes sense but I also want fresh faces (or voices I guess) to keep coming onto the videos. It’s hard to balance all of that and RNG might screw one of those things up. We will have to see how it goes and I am open to feedback/suggestions.

THE TOWER SUGGESTIONS.

We are still figuring this part out, there will be a specific post about this later in the future. We definitely want Patreon participation in The Tower, we want you guys to be able to help build that thing up but we also need to be careful that we aren't forced to both pay $60 every episode to play a 100 JRPG otherwise the time and money lost from this gimmick will outweigh its worth for us. We'll figure out some guidelines before this is final.

That's it for now guys, obviously no pressure on upgrading to anything, we want the majority of the rewards to be in the first two tiers but we've been told multiple times that we should have higher tiers for the people who want to go the extra mile support wise so this was our solution/idea.
