Aww, This is one of my favorite episodes next to episode 6 & 7. The point at the end is that Armand cut + edited both of their memories. Armand said the exact same thing Louis did about Daniel at the beginning. It means he implanted that into Louis’s mind. Louis & Daniel now know that Armand has been messing with their memories. Louis is Not happy at all with Armand. Louis is Not over Lestat & maybe he never will be because of his own trauma & possible mental illness . Louis maybe allowed himself to be lulled into companionship by Armand because they both cannot stand to be alone. Armand is desperate to be with Louis & it is really sad & annoying. Louis said those terrible things to him when he was high in the 70’s, but there is truth to them because he is not happy. Armand’s own trauma is what keeps him tied to Louis even though he knows how Louis feels . Armand doesn’t know who he is if he is not serving someone , or cleaning up after someone as Maitre (coven master). Him being jealous of Daniel + Lestat makes perfect sense. Both Daniel & Lestat know exactly who they are & they “fascinated” Louis. Armand, Amadeo, Arun the boy who was made a slave , then vampire, then a coven master does not know who he is if he’s not serving someone.
