2024-03-23 15:27:25 +0000 UTCSo this movie was my introduction to the Vampire mythology. I think I saw it right before Twilight , True Blood, & The Vampire Diaries were coming out & getting popular. Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles are the blueprint. Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, & Queen of the Damned were the first 3 books in the the 13 book saga. They had to tone down the Gayness/pansexuality from the books to the movie back in the 90’s. The new tv series corrects that & doesn’t shy away from the queerness. I know you don’t do tv series reactions, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check out the AMC + series on your own. You know how much I adore it based on my posts. 🥰 It’s only 7 episodes & it pulls you In from the start. Our Greyworm from GOT Jacob Anderson plays Louis & Sam Reid plays Lestat. Maybe my favorite 2 versions of the characters.
