If your LP-fan-buddy hasn’t already told you, Chester did a one-time album called Out of Ashes under the band name Dead By Sunrise which goes back to Chester’s rock sound. Look up the track Crawl Back In maybe and have a listen. Or maybe don’t listen to any of it. Do the album blind. Just a suggestion based on what I think you’re enjoying about LP and it’s mostly Chester 👍

Chester

When I stop enjoying the albums I'll stop listening to them, but so far I'm enjoying them A LOT so the next album will come

All good man! It’s just a guitar played through a pretty clean amp with a nice tone adjustment. Also honestly can’t wait till you listen to Minutes to Midnight. A lot of reactors seem to just stop at the first two albums and don’t appreciate how the band evolved and that there’s a story to be told from the first album to the last. Glad you’re really enjoying this though man for real. Keep it up!

Chester

Oh it's just an electric guitar lol I'm slow 💀

Madvision

The instrument you asked about in the intro to A Place for My Head is an electric guitar. You may have heard of them. They were popular back in the olden days.

Chester

Oh wow, now they're in the car and gym!!

I love that you're reacting to these albums and enjoying them. It's really bringing me back to my teenage self. I also watched your reaction to Meteora but was so busy with work that I didn't have time to leave a comment. Meteora is their best album to me, but Hybrid Theory is where it all started. There are SO many radio hits on this album, so much to love, and then there's My December, which was everything to angsty 15 year old me. I heard it during a sleepover at a friend's house and had to buy a special single album that only had three songs on it because it wasn't part of the original tracklist of Hybrid Theory and it wasn't played on the radio. I had stopped listening to Linkin Park by the time I went to college, but I remember being gutted when I heard about Chester Bennington's death. He was so talented and it feels so sad to not have him here anymore. I got to see Linkin Park twice when I was in high school and I'm super grateful for that.
