31 is finally done! Just going to cut to the point, classes really have taken a number on me this time and it’s just really eaten up so much of my personal work hours for art but I’ll do my best to deliver nonetheless. Honestly for this page, I wish I could’ve done better. The hair color, saturations, values and so on feels like it’s been drastically shifting from page to page, the mans hand in the middle looks all fucky, and for the love of god that top middle panel took forever to figure out neck muscle and how a head would be rendered looking up. Back on yangs hair though, theres been too much apparent changes from the previous renditions. I realize that the entire comic is in that way but that was due to a span of progress while this felt more aimless in trying to figure out long hair.

Theres a lot of strands and shapes I have to imagine in my head on how to separate the hair to render in an easier way so I tried adjusting my pens pressure in order for me to have a little more control in the directions of where I want it to fade, stop, start, etc. sadly, still was not satisfied with the outcome. I was far more satisfied with the first rendition of Yang on page 27 but I can’t quite recall on how I did that. These inconsistencies are really starting to aggravate me and I apologize on that. I think I may have to simplify more block-values more in order to have more control and I’ll try to execute that in the next pages. Maybe I’m starting off with too much strands and should just put flat values or something. Ugh, hair sucks but I’ll try to figure it out x) anyway, I’m real sorry about the wait, again classes and personal life have just been robbing me with the time to do more.
