“If you can’t fix it with duct tape, then you ain’t using enough duct tape.”
And so I did.
It is still not perfect, but it is "okayish" - I've been beaten for for far too long by Daz trying to make an improved version, but every time I go back and fix something on it so it feels better to use.
The texture size is still 4096 and with quite low polygon count and has limitations on how much we can bend and twist it, also, it doesn't have a dial with multiple bones assigned - I suggest you guys to do like me and create a shortcut on Daz for "Select children bones" at customize / actions / scene view / select children and use it with not much objects in scene 'cause the subdivision likes to be a pain in the ass sometimes.
I had some presets but deleted them because they carried some mistakes on the tape config, so, I'll bring some later.
Fixed a distortion on the texture close to the 100cm, "fixed the UV" (but top and bottom are built to not have texture), edited subdivision count, thickened it a little bit, fixed Rogue's texture option, edited colors on the original texture (Bmtbguy) so it can be read easier under shadows.
And it is still 3Delight texture/daz-base. I don't have a PB yet for it.
*edit - This is a Daz Studio prop, so, it is for whoever wants to try it.
