New World - The Minimized

I've been thinking about rebuilding the whole story or plot I wanted for my renders, so I thought it would be better to change the "Hum-ants" plot to something more classic that would be the famous shrink virus, but with "something" extra in it.

The last renders I uploaded were all the ones I created over a year ago, I think. I'll be working on future renders with Kimberly and Sophie, as well as two new characters I'm currently working on.

So anyway, different story... same characters... I hope you enjoy this new world.

The appearance of a strange virus caused people to take shelter in their homes for several months, cities seemed uninhabited and people visited supermarkets infrequently only to buy what was necessary for their homes. The effects of the virus were still unknown, but the fear that people had was that every time someone contracted the virus, they simply and strangely disappeared the next day.

The hospitals were filled with patients affected by the virus every day, but the next morning, the stretchers were empty. When one of them woke up, he found himself in a nightmare come true, everything around him was gigantic, even on the stretcher, he realized that people did not really disappear but shrank to tiny sizes, he had to tell someone, when suddenly the door of the room opened and a gigantic woman entered.

"Ugh, damn it, not again...! This is the tenth one this morning" He heard her say as she walked towards him without seeming to notice him.

 With no idea that the patients were still there, nurses shook and sanitized the stretchers for new patients, sending the tiny people flying through the air. While few were lucky enough to survive the hard fall, it was only a matter of minutes before they were crushed without anyone noticing.

As time went by, hospitals decided to monitor each patient, watching every second until they realized that their size was getting smaller as the hours went by. When people learned that the virus actually shrank people, there were many moments of uncertainty and fear. Little by little, cases of missing people increased, but cases of those affected by the virus decreased.

Scientists discovered that most of the affected and missing people were only men, and only a few cases of shrunken women. For some reason, the virus drastically affected only men due to an inefficiency in DNA, which caused the virus to be more aggressive and efficient in them. The cases where women were shrunk were classified as a "DNA incompatibility." In this way, it was proven that most women around the world were immune to this virus, unlike men who were only a matter of hours away from becoming tiny.

After 5 years, it was very rare to see a normal-sized man, but life in the cities continued on its course. Schools, businesses, everything worked normally. The virus affected in different ways, which caused there to be two types of affected people, the Minimized and the Wilders. The Minimized could enjoy their daily lives, although now with many dangers around them, unless they wanted to be out of the house, they would have to be cared for by a woman due to their tiny size. On the other hand, the Wilders were called that because the virus made them, in some way, more primitive, causing loss of speech as well as extremely reduced mental capacity, all memories as a normal person were erased.

But there was one special case, still unknown to the world, where the minimized was able to survive in conditions where anyone would die instantly.

He is Rod Beckett, a 23 year old who was shrunk down during his time at college. Right after being shrunk to an inch in height, he went to find help by running through the halls of the school. The girls were huge and none of them had any idea he was there, until he heard two familiar voices.

"Oh my god... Sophie... Kim... Heeey, down here!!!"

Rod looked back and saw his friends walking towards him, without thinking twice he ran towards them. Kimberly's feet landed right in front of Rod, her shoe laces falling to the ground as she and Sophie stopped to open their lockers. Rod stepped onto Kimberly's shoe and right after both girls started walking again, not even knowing about Rod.

It was time for gym class, so the girls went to the locker room to change clothes and shoes. That idea didn't sit well with Rod. Entering the changing room, Sophie pulled out her sneakers and placed them on the floor as she went to change clothes. Kimberly quickly took off her shoes and without noticing threw them right out of Sophie's shoes, not noticing tiny Rod shoot out of her shoes only to fall right into Sophie's shoes.

"Fuck...! Oh shit... This is bad..." He said as he heard footsteps near him.

Within seconds, Rod's vision was obstructed by Sophie's gigantic feet who was putting on her shoes without noticing him. His tiny legs were no match for such a giant girl and he was instantly dragged by the sole of the shoe, getting trapped right under Sophie's foot, until she stood up and he felt the enormous pressure on his tiny body and...

CRUSH...???

There was no broken bone, not a drop of blood, he was just motionless, stuck in Sophie's foot, he was lifted and crushed over and over again for over 2 hours as she walked, jogged, jumped, but he was still alive. Why???

5 hours later

Sophie and Kimberly had returned home, Sophie laid down on the couch and started taking off her shoes with an annoyed face.

"All this time I've had that stupid pebble bothering me on my feet...!" She said taking off her shoe and turning it in front of her, when she shook it she could see that annoying pebble come out, landing on the table in front of the couch. But, that strange pebble was moving.

"What the... fuck is that..." She said as she approached the tiny thing, only to realize it was a Minimized.

"Huh? How the fuck did you survive all that time in there...?" Sophie inched closer to the tiny man, wondering how he was still alive, until he turned around.

"Wait... Rod!? What the fu...? How did you get there? How did you survive in there? Sophie asked, shocked by what she was seeing.

"I have no idea why I'm still alive either... I just tried to get your attention when I saw you an Kim in the school hallways and... I ended up stuck at your feet..." Rod replied.

Sophie carefully took Rod in her hands. Despite having a cold personality, she still showed affection to her friends.

"At least Kim and Karen will be glad you didn't turn into one of those Savages..."
