Hum-ants

In a world quite different from the one we live in, humans struggle every day to survive in an extremely hostile environment. Taking refuge among plants that seem to reach the sky and surrounded by gigantic creatures, humans are the weakest and easiest prey in this world.

But without a doubt the greatest fear of humans and any other creature are the beings that some usually call Giantesses, Titaness or Goddesses. They are quite similar to humans, but are gigantic in size. The ignorant belief that humans can make contact with giant women has led them to many ways of dying, since their screams are barely small and insignificant squeals to the ears of the Giantesses, so over time they have had to learn to survive out of their reach.

A small civilization of humans had settled their colony in a "jungle", where the stems of leaves grew from the ground to the sky. Every day they split up into groups to explore the entire terrain around them in search of food. When they reached the huge smooth wooden wall, they knew they had reached the limit of their exploration and were forbidden to cross that limit, since above that surface was the place of the giantess who occasionally crossed there.

The humans returned to their shelter with only some food, which were the leftovers that some giantesses threw around. They felt the ground vibrate and, knowing what this meant, the helpless group of humans began to run. Soon, the smooth wooden surface began to creak as above, in the distance, the body of a giantess covered the surroundings of the tiny group of humans with her shadow.

Even though the giant woman was hundreds of meters behind the humans, in addition to the great distance they had already traveled, it was enough for the giantess to move her foot slightly forward to be right above the humans.

The humans in the shelter saw the giantess cross the border, and soon scouting groups began to arrive from all sides to be safe. They didn't notice that one group was missing, but they didn't give it any importance when they saw the giant woman's foot fall on the plants and crush them with such ease. Neither she, nor they, noticed the group of humans that was crushed under her foot with her first step. She always wandered around while her angelic voice echoed everywhere. She always spoke to that strange thing she calls "cell phone" without caring about the shock it causes with each step she takes.

Despite the name nicknamed by the humans (without even knowing it), the giant women called each other "mom", "daughter" or "girlfriend" and many other names.

Sarah, the giantess who unknowingly torments the tiny group of humans, had come out to talk to her mother on her cell phone. She walked out into her backyard and, stepping down the small wooden step, she entered her garden, barely feeling the grass cracking beneath her feet, as she told her mom about her boring day at work, she never noticed the small group of hum-ants she had crushed.

"...I think I have a hum-ant infestation in my house... Every day I have to crush dozens of them..."

The girl listened to her mom on the phone as she looked down at her feet, she could barely see a lone hum-ant lurking near her feet. Without any expression on her face, Sarah slightly moved her foot forward and gently dropped it on the helpless bug, instantly forgetting about it and going back to talking to her mom.

"I know, mom... They're annoying... Just call the exterminator..."

Sarah turned around and went back into her house, heading to her couch and lying down on it. As she crossed her feet in the air, the tiny humans crushed in her soles will never be seen again.

This world was populated only by women, who upon discovering the tiny creatures similar to them, never gave them importance and so, humans are just a type of bug, an annoying pest that invades the homes of women, who will simply crush them out of annoyance, for fun or without even realizing it.
