Year of the Tiger
Added 2022-01-21 01:49:08 +0000 UTCThis was a particularly fun shoot at a particularly cool Air BnB down in Tucson.
It was also a photo study as we rented a couple of Fuji's latest X-Mount lenses: the 50mm f1.0 & the 23mm f1.4. These lenses have been getting a lot of good reviews and we were eager to try them out. The first three images were taken with the 50, and they were tack sharp, but a little too tight for such a confined space as this historic house built in the 1930s.
The last three images were taken with the 23, and better accommodated our style of environmental portraiture/nudes. Also a sharp lens with lovely rendering but slow autofocus. Yep, I missed some shots and really the 23 shines as a manual focus lens.
Both lenses definitely live up to the Fuji reputation but have their drawbacks in certain situations as is the case with all lenses, particularly prime lenses.
But, regardless. Elle was looking hot and her poses on point sexy!
