New owl character

I tried to make an orc representative for Quest Guild, but then I had the idea. What if there were owls living in the forest on Golorock. They could make enemies that were NOT orcs and add some variety to the island.
I have ideas for Orc enemies for the mountain part of the island, but I couldn't come up with a reason to add them to the forest too.
After I worked with that, I had an idea that one of the owls could join the Quest Guild and see that the Quild doesn't bother the owls and their mating rituals in the forest. He could be like a mysterious, quiet character. That would also solve my problems with figuring out an orc representative for the Quild.
What are your thoughts, do you like the idea?
