OMG this theory!! Honestly that's how I felt watching it.. I was like there has to be a way to get this thing off without it exploding and I was hoping that Arisu would figure it out. You are right though it does make perfect sense that it would be just Arisu also they way they introduced those other characters in the "Tag" game .. I figured it wouldn't be the last that we would see of them. I am ready to see what else is to come especially with Season 2 coming!!

I really enjoyed the dynamics between the four and I found all of the characters engaging so I was really bummed to see them go at the end. But from a writing standpoint, it makes total sense to jump start Arisu's character like this. And I think killing them also provided interesting commentary on human nature, desperation, friendship, and the will to live. I will leave you on this: the manga writer has gone on record confirming that there was a way to clear this game without anyone dying but they haven't actually revealed what it is. As a result, fans have long speculated what the solution could be. My personal fav theory out there is that the Sheep had to stand (hide) behind the Wolf and use the tools to cut off the collar of the Wolf in front of them since the Wolf's collar is the one that is confirmed to not explode at the end. Once the collar is off, the Wolf role would then switch to one of the remaining Sheep and they would rinse and repeat until all collars are removed or until there was only one Wolf. The only flaw or hiccup in this theory is that the first Wolf has to risk their life testing the solution. That person would have to be brave and make a potential sacrifice for the others if it goes wrong.

2021-12-20 21:09:09 +0000 UTCOh no no no!!!! Wtf whyyyy?!!! So betrayal is played in this and it has to be them? Damn this friendship will turn into selfishness real fast, I know it. The way how this game portrayed is major f*cked up. It made them turn against each other!! I was hoping those tools were made to get those goggles off and yet Karube and Shiruki here not giving Arisu a chance to figure it out but the selfishness got in the way because they all want to survive.. And now after sharing memories now they willing to sacrifice for Arisu like....oh no 😨 Omg I can't do this. I need time to recover before I watch episode 4. Damnnnn my heart for Arisu's friends. 😭😭😭
