Goodbye CSP Version 0.2.2.

In order to introduce new features, we have decided to abandon compatibility with version 0.2.2 of Custom Shader Patch to move into the newer 0.2.3 for the future of CMRT.

Thanks to the improvements introduced by Ilja Jusupov (autor of Custom Shader Patch) in 0.2.3 we were able to further improve stability of the interface during online sessions, in particular for the data shown on the Leaderboard.

Your experience with our interface will benefit significantly, since thanks to this upgrade, in the next update you will finally be able to lock in a proper way every part of CMRT Essential HUD everywhere you want on screen.

To show you all the features we have introduced, a picture is not enough. We will provide a dedicated section on Overtake about it. In the meantime, we are happy to list some of them for you here: Gaearbox Reworked timing of lights. RPM Lights we only light up when near the limiter, instead of starting from 0 RPM. You can disable this and re-enable the old system in Settings. Leaderboard Fuel estimate will be saved so next time you open Assetto Corsa you can immediately see it. Leaderboard At the end of a race moved the "FINISHED" text into the lap count, so you can see the driver latest laptime. At the end of a race the interval between you and each driver is not updated, so you can see how much gap you had. Deltabar New layout options: you can decide if you want the delta bar in the middle, on top, or on the bottom of the app. Optimized how lap/sector data is converted and stored in files. This should reduce occasional lag spikes, usually visible when finishing a sector. On our end saving data in Interlagos is now 20% to 300% (3x) faster. The effect is clearer on longer tracks. Radar Added settings to show other players rectangles rotated (off by default). Added settings to show extra warning bands for closest cars (off by default). Pedals Fixed bars getting on top of telemetry/steering wheel at different resolutions when handbrake is enabled. Next time you open the game the app will remember if you have left telemetry open or closed. These are the main features that the Patreon version has compared to the Overtake version. CMRT Group

Hi Daniel, the main feature is the ability to be able to stick apps anywhere you want on the screen. Also in this release more bugs were solved that could compromise your experience during races. CMRT Group

What multiplayer bugs have been resolved??

Yes AussieRC, we know that many users still use 0.1.79. As Damgam already said, 0.1.79 would not be able to support our interface and its features at the current state. Adapting CMRT Essential HUD to versions previous to 0.2.2 would not only require a huge time investment, but would also compromize the quality of the final product itself. The majority of multiplayer bugs are already present in 0.1.79, bugs that Ilja has already solved in 0.2.3. This means that even if we were able to adapt our interface to 0.1.79 we would still have more bugs and instabilities than in 0.2.2. The Custom Shader Patch community is also discussing on making version 0.2.3 (or one of the future ones) the new stable. CMRT Group

These extra features, are they features available on other HUDs already?

This HUD probably couldn't even exist in 1.79 due to the amount of extra features that were added later that this mod uses. Also, new "recommended" is likely coming soon since 0.2.3 is rather stable.

You guys do realize there's tonnes of people that stick with 1.79, due to being the recommended version and one that actually works with everything yeah? The latest versions always bug something out and make things unplayable, hence being called, preview versions...
