Maggie: Final pages 83 & 84

Ladies and Gentlemen, the moment has finally arrived: "Maggie's fattening story," my very first weightgain story, my life's work, the comic that I began in 2001, with interruptions but never abandoned, is finally complete. You can't imagine how I felt, when I put the "THE END" under the last page. It feels crazy.

I guess nothing represents my work in this community more than this comic—and now it's finished. I must admit, Maggie's scope (both in universe and on a meta-level) has expanded much further than I originally intended, but I felt this story deserved a literal grand finale. Moreover, I wanted its conclusion to be somewhat reconciling and wholesome, and I hope you like how I've brought it all to an end.

I know there are many out there who wish for more, in multiple senses. Many wish for Maggie to become even larger, for Cid and Tanya to grow larger, and even for Maggie's parents to follow the same path as their daughter. However, after 23 years of working on this comic and seeing Maggie reach these unbelievable proportions, far beyond my normal comfort zone, I must say: It has to end somewhere! Maggie's story has been told, as have those of the other characters. I deliberately wrote the ending so that you can imagine how it might continue, but I won't show any more and leave that to your imagination.

There's one more thing I must make clear: Despite what many of you might wish, there will be no sequel, no prequel, and no spinoff to "Maggie." Perhaps I'll indulge in an Easter egg or cameo here and there, but apart from that, I am done with these characters whom I hold dear. However, if anyone wishes to write or draw spinoffs related to Maggie's story, you are welcome to do so. I look forward to seeing the results.

What will come are a few commissions featuring Maggie characters that have accumulated over the years. I didn't want to release these until the story was complete, to avoid confusion. I will publish these soon under the label "Maggie Multiverse" to make clear, that these have no connection to the main story.

With that said, I can only express my gratitude to all those who have remained loyal to me and this comic over the years. I hope you've enjoyed my debut work. And fear not, I already have a few ideas for a story that might one day take Maggie's place, but I'll talk about that when it becomes more concrete. Thank you! ❤
