A week ago, Josh had been a man who owned his own business, an auto shop on the edge of town so successful that he had refused to sell the property to GHS for a new development.
Then his number came up in the rebalance lottery.
Now, after a week in nano-surgical tank A, Josh is “Anna,” a Rebalance girl who was about to meet her breeding steward. The man who would “own” her and be responsible for keeping her pregnant.
Her steward had sent this outfit ahead of their introduction. The message was clear, Anna was now nothing but a breeding vessel.
As Anna looked at what she had become, a man spoke behind her
“Delicious!” he said. “And like your shop Josh, that ass is all mine”
Anna turned and saw the man from GHS who had tried to buy her shop. That’s when she understood. The lottery was all a sham.
