Patient Zero returns home

All replaced with a matched white bedroom set around anew full sized bed covered in a flowered spread. It was all disgustingly feminine. Paul’s mother spoke up.
“As soon as the Doctors understood what was happening to you, we got in touch with the psychiatrist who was helping you. She said that “full immersion” was the fastest way to get you adapted to your new gender once the infection finished it’s work.
So while you was in the hospital being poked and prodded by all those doctors, we got to work here! Lucky we got an early start too cause when the infection spread to a global pandemic, it got pretty hard to get pretty things! I guess that’s the advantage of being “Patient Zero.”
Anyway, Paula, this is your new room! We threw out all your old boy clothes and got you a full wardrobe of the prettiest dresses and skirts! I can’t wait to teach you how to be a lady! I always wanted a daughter! I’ll throw out those old hospital scrubs, panties camis and bras are in the top two drawers over there!

She shut the door, leaving Paula alone fir the first time since entering the Emergency Department five months ago. Finally, the reality of her new life came crashing in on her.
