Taunting a Demon

The whole room cringed in terror as Donna resigned herself to her fate. It was her, after all who had summoned the creature, even if it had been accidental.
Alex, however, grinned devilishly as he snatched the necklace out of Donna’s hand and put it on himself. “What are you going to do now Hellspawn?” Alex taunted, thinking he was clever. Alex was a fool!
“Claim my bride” The Demon said and twisted his hand.
Alex fell as his entire body was consumed in flame. His screams grew higher in pitch and then the flames vanished. A Raven haired beauty in a purple corset dress was kneeling where Alex has stood.
“Come my love, we must consummate our bond” The Demon said as he took the girls hand.
Alex flashed one last terrified glance at his friends before they vanished in a column of flame.
