They were deep in the National forest, fifteen miles from the nearest town and five miles from the nearest road.
The antidote for the Gender change potion Carol had forced Devin to drink was sitting on his kitchen table in the middle of the city 100 miles away. Devin had until noon tomorrow to drink the antidote if he wanted to be a man again. With no money, no keys and no clothes, once Devin got to town, there would likely only be ONE way to pay for anything.
Carol then climbed back into the truck and drove away.
