A Possible ending to "The House of O'Neil"

Under new Nexum laws, felony convicts were enslaved to private owners. Edmund Quay ran one of the corporate brothel companies and had framed his secretary for murder, purchased her, and kept her as his plaything for over a year before new evidence revealed his crime.
