Chapter 70: Meeting Andra's Family

Anywayyy ahhhh this chapter is finally done TT--TT Thank you for waiting, thank youuuuu🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

It's a long chapter, it should've taken 20 days but ended up... who knows how long💀💀I think i'm going 1chapter/2month at this rate. I started to question my ability as a webtoon artist...💀💀💀

A lot of thing happen while working on this chap, including my not-even-1-years-old display laptop(like laptop with pen tablet ability) broken, flickering issue that it's took a long time to move my data etc. Not blaming the laptop, but mostly how slow i'm working now. But I already give up on hating myself and just continue working on what I can do hahaha. I understand if this patreon has no other perks than advanced chapter TTwTT which updates irregularly now OTL. I counted this chapter with regular 9hr work a day I can only finish one page/day/per process after storyboarding(which took most.. I finished this one in 2 weeks? 3 weeks?) this one have 5 pages, sketching 5 days, lineart 5-6 days, coloring 5 days, typesetting+finishing 1/2 days. It really made me mad because I used to finish one chapter within 3-5 days (mr beta early chapter, like.. almost 5 years ago). Remembering my glory back then and comparing it to now make me feel so useless o)-----( but oh well.

Anyway!!!! This chapter we finally meet andra's family as you see in the WIP!!

 They're a family with similar height. In yolka's eyes, they look like minions😂
I changed andra's dad hair color to whiter because he's getting old and stressed. I like his character the most, silent man with weak heart, he still in shock his eldest bring a man home😂 but at the same time he's also easy to coax! Andra's dad is a carpenter man specialized in constructing hot spring.

After almost 5 years of drawing Mr Beta, I finally just decided andra's family name. Andra Nahulu and Yolka Ivanderson (which also only decided when we met yolka's family)😂😂 When making stories I usually only write MC and ML and MC's family and ML's family and et cetera so even after developing the story only first name is made and used. Andra's family using these naming system: -dra (male offspring) -dri or -ri (female offspring); including ravi(ndra); plus the father's family name 'Nahulu',
while yolka's family using patronymic/matronymic system(using father's or mother's first name, usually the Alpha parent). So Yolka Ivanderson (Yolka, the son of Ivander).

If yolka and andra got married and have kids, I wonder which familial name they used?

As for yolka's remark about andra being a northern man, usually north (colder place) has taller and bigger people, but andra is smol.

I honestly want to draw yolka and ravi's banters more 😭 Ravi is totally a troll.

Andra's family seems to have mixed reviews about yolka---little bro is fond of him as yolka is a successful and good looking man, little sis is suspicious because yolka is 'too good' to his dumb big brother and afraid he harbors bad intention, mom is still observing but approve of the quality man andra brought home, dad is still in middle of being seduced by yolka's charm.

Seems like the family has seen a lot of gossip, especially in small town like theirs👁️👄👁️andra's cousin whose bride run away with female alpha, and this one who divorced because the alpha marked an omega. Especially sindri, andra's lil sis, she's in legal business and saw many 'cases' and instantly wary.

But they'll be fine!

Anyway. I will draw andra's past in next chapter. I recently followed another artist's patreon and is astounded by how often they updates, it makes me feel really really ashamed. So let's take example from him and try to update more.. even just small part or pieces.
