All's Fair Chapter 2

This story scares the shit out of me. That's not a tagline, it's a statement.
In the before times I worked as a script doctor and writer. I've done a lot but there was some... stuff... around the time of the pandemic and I put down my pen and stopped writing, stopped, really, everything. What I'm doing here has been rebuilding my confidence in my craft and the craft itself, and this? This is the first time I've worked with unique characters in a unique world without it being a game of some kind. And that would be terrifying enough.
But this story. Whatever it ends up being. The content and characters of this story as it's been developed scare the shit out of me. We're going to start with a little light romance and some fun characters and an actual fucking love triangle, and then... well. You'll see. I hope you'll see. I hope this is good enough to speak for itself.
@BalthaZarDragon has utterly outdone himself bringing these characters and everything they're going to suffer through to life. His work, as always, is outstanding. I urge you, if you have anything you need done, to contact him and work with him; he's an incredible talent and a fantastic human and I'm lucky to have found him.
Zastrozzi is a real play, first written by Shelley and then rewritten by Canadian playwright George Walker. We're referencing the Walker version here. It's a vicious little piece of literature and I love it.
Let me know what you think of this, if you like. I hope it's something you all enjoy, and it'll go monthly from now until it ends. Next week we come back with whatever you've voted on and the final part of Saving Sabrina, and both are going to be fun. This, though. This.
