I need a break

Dear All,

It is with great difficulty that I had to announce this, but it’s been a thing that has long been in development. I need a break.

On June 29, I will be pausing payments for the month of July. You should NOT be charged until the monthly anniversary of the pause, July 29th. If you happen to be charged during this time frame, I will issue a full refund (I will check each individual’s payment history, as it allows me to see payments that goes through).

The page should still be live, and you will still have access to content already posted here. I have not tried out this feature yet, so I am unfamiliar with its quirks. I may also post early access (if any) posts here, if it allows me to. You will just not be charged for it, and newcomers will not be able to sign up on my page during the payment pause time period.

I truthfully have been extremely overworked and unhappy with drawing in general, despite massive improvement. This was not an easy choice to make.

A lot of people have reached out to me, and it has come to my attention that what I’m attempting to do is unsustainable given my current mental and physical state.

There will also be changes to monthly content after the pause is completed. I will need to drop some monthly material, mostly ones that seem less popular and in demand. They will be replaced with different, easier-to-manage formats - more information to come when I have thought things out more.

It was not easy having to admit that I cannot do everything - and that sacrifices need to be made. I still aim to provide a service fair to the amount you sign up for, and I will be working on developing more sustainable methods.

It is 3:00am as I am currently typing this, so apologies if any part of this message is unclear. I have been super stressed and frankly on the verge of (a blowout) most of these days, especially since summer school began. I haven’t taken the time to draw anything for myself, because every creative move was planned towards building my business (and future).

July is also the month of my birthday. And I guess it’s nice to take the time off to create for myself :’) .

As for June’s promised content, they will come out one way or another. Even if it is well into the pause period - I just need to take things at my body’s pace for once 😮‍💨.
