There was a time, in 2009 to be precise, when you typed “Marketa” into Google and all you got were pictures of this pretty blonde. Really true!
She was unattainable, beautiful, famous. Petter Hegre had just published a little book with her and she was a sought-after star. By unattainable I mean, how could I book her? I sent her a request on a modeling website in 2008 and - please don't laugh - she only replied a year later. But then everything happened very quickly. She asked for a hefty fee, I paid it, booked her flight, hotel and make-up artist. And then I finally got to work with this dream woman.
She was natural, funny, nice and just mega sexy. It really helped me as a photographer and the chance to work with a real professional gave me a push and it was only from then on that I really started to love my job.
