Bunny Knight photoshoot first look!!

How was your week? How is your well-being? I hope you’re doing great and already starting to feel coming Christmas holiday period.

Today I’m here to share the progress update of the December Main project - Bunny Knight! Yes, not the Rabbit Knight. The original art was made by the japanese artist Sakizo. Last time when I announced the main project I was so tired that I mistakenly named another artist.
This character first appeared in her artbook and called USA MIMI. Usagi in japanese means Bunny and Usa means ear, if I remember correctly. In this case technically her name would be USA, and her sister’s name (which is white bunny) is MIMI. I didn’t have an opportunity to buy that artbook at the time (because I was a poor student) and only saw a few images from it. But what a sight it was for me. )
Sorry for misinformation, I was really tired at the time and didn’t think straight. )
My first idea was to make duo photoshoot, like it was with 2Bx2P project since there were two bunnies. But the production of the second costume stalled due to complications with the fabric. Also on the pre-production stage the second costume was a bit too much for our budget and it would take maybe a year to finish. After that the war began and we needed to decide our future. SInce we had at least one costume ready, we decided to shoot it as a solo project. There were also complications with the model choice, but I’ll save this small story for later. )

I love the type of art and character design this artist creates and am really proud to be able to pay my tribute. I hope you’ll like our interpretation of this character, even if it exists only as the drawing. On the other hand, it’s even better, because we have more space for the imagination. Who she is, how she speaks, what she loves and what she hates.

I also love that we shot this project using warm light. It makes it even more special during Christmas and New Year months, because it is similar to the tone and adds to the atmosphere.
Almost like sitting near a warm fireplace. )

P.S.: Did you watch TGA 2024? What do you think about the winners and announced new games?
I was rooting for Metaphor title and glad it took two nominations for Best RPG and Best Narrative, but understand why it couldn’t be the game of the year.
I, personally, didn’t like Ciri’s new adult look, but remember that in the game and in the cinematic to Witcher 3 Geralt too looked way different. So maybe there will be some changes. New Mafia game looks very promising. I was also happy to see a new game from the creator of Shadow of the Colossus.
And the best part of the whole show - The Flute musician made my day. I love to see very passionate and talented people at their work. )
