Demi Subverse photoshoot first look!

Hello my Sweethearts!

How’s your February going? How’s your well-being? Remember to eat properly and nourish yourself with vitamins. End of winter is a tough period both for physical and mental health. So don’t forget to take proper rest after work doing the things you love.
I, recently, started to learn drawing from scratch. )
It calms me and has an effect close to meditation. Even so I never tried meditation, but I believe it has similar feel of peace. )
The only downside is that it's hard to find good drawing lessons. Most lessons consist of advertisement of plug-ins packs or brush packs, which ultimately nullify the lesson’s value. “You want to know how to make this kind of art? I won’t say how, just buy this pack and everything will be fine.” It’s almost the same to all “fairly free” digital media and not that I can’t understand the point and circumstances.
I’m willing to pay for proper lessons, but I would like to learn first with tools that everyone has and given at the start. For that I’m willing to pay. And after that, later upgrade with the tools previous creators provide helping all of us to move towards our goals and well-being.
But then comes the fact that not all creators have good teaching skills. They are talented and hardworking, but when it comes to explaining things you, as the pupil, end up with learning nothing.
I found some materials to start with, but I’m already feeling frustration for the future where I’ll try find something new. )

Oh, by the way, photography and retouching skills actually help in learning and turned out I know part of the information on base level from the start. )

By the way, what platforms do you use to learn new things? Or do you recommend looking? And what is your thought process that helps you to go into studying mood? )

Let’s get to the main topic of the post - the first look of our Demi Subverse photoshoot.
I planned my first post to be about backstage and share some inside perspective. But after seeing how the first look image progressed and changed, I decided to share it first. I think this way it would also be more interesting for you to see the backstage after.
So, here’s the first look.

You know what’s tough about this character? She has an unusual design. The commonly recognised android design features visible joint segments of the body. You see where legs are attached, hands, face etc. And segments have visible gaps between each other. Demi has LED like lights between them. And they view changes with different source light on the body. Basically on some images gaps seen like lights, on others like usual black gaps.

Also she is full metal with acrylic like painted surface. Human skin, even the healthiest one, is far from having the same visual qualities.

Overall the model needs hard edits to simulate what we are lacking. And I think we did a great job overcoming these obstacles. The only thing left is to continue it on other images too.
What do you think? ) Please share your thoughts!

That is all for today!
Please have a great day and awesome upcoming weekend!

Tough and challenging, I'm sure you'll do well. After this, time for slimy She-Venom.
