Yor Forger progress update and other thoughts!

Hello my Sweethearts!

How are you doing? How’s your working week went? How’s the weather at your place?
Mine went relatively stable and even weather was kind to us. (My mind was melting because of the heat few weeks in a row, and having mildly warm weather feels like a blessing)

June went before my eyes in a flash. No wonder there’s a saying “The older you get, the faster time goes”. Or something like that. )
It makes me a bit sad, but month ago I promised to not sway into depressive mode. Still doing it too slowly, but I’m  improving. )

About our current progress. Yor’s progress is almost at 90%. The project might look good, but when you’re working on it, you face some difficulties with light on model’s body. Almost the same as it was on Yennefer photoshoot. When you want to use dramatic light scheme, it always comes with certain costs. The biggest of which is Time.
Tao will need a few days to finish everything properly and I’ll need a bit of time to recheck everything. Yes, we have quality control ass you know. )

My next post will be reward post or main project voting post. I’m not sure right now, because whenever I predict share my future plans something always gets in the way. Pretty tired of it. )
But before any of the future posts will appear before your eyes, I want to share with you another very natural image from the Yor photoshoot.
Let me share how it usually went on our shoots, when both photographers are on the set. I talked about it many times, so it’s more to my friends who are new here. )
My main goal as a photographer is to get as many good shots as possible. I know what poses will work, what light should be used in the moment and how to be quick. Tao’s goal as a photographer is to try and bring as many emotive and dramatic shots as possible. So he tends to do one shot, but work on it precisely. ”
So technically I do many but good, he does less but what catches the eye. Combining together it helps to have a well rounded project.
And it’s easier when you have an assistant with you, who can hold the light, change its position or suggest a better angle.
I shot Yor project only myself and after many years of working in team, it was very hard to take everything in consideration. The photoshoot becomes a bit dry. This image and the previous one I shared with you, was one of those times, when I decided not to be usual Dzikan, not to be rushed and strict, but just chill and find right emotion/pose for the shot.
