Marketa, Frankfurt, 2009

Marketa was this famous beauty. A gorgeous model that I first saw in a small booklet by Petter Hegre. The year was 2009 and somehow I was stuck in my creative process. I wasn't making any progress. That's when I decided to put my money where my mouth was and book a full-time professional model.

It took her a year to respond to my request, which was somehow not so professional, but I gained a lot of joy in photography through her and her gorgeous body still inspires me today.

These are freshly edited photos that I took in 2009, but have now retrieved from the archive to show them again in large format. So 15 years after actually taking the images, you can see them newly retouched and color graded with my skills from today. And far more than I picked back then. There's more to come, too.
