2B Nier Automata RE: Backstage preview

Today I'm here to share with backstage photos from our lates project.
I really like, how it is coming out. Very contrasty look continues dark theme I took as base for our main project. Dark don't necessarily means grim. Where the darkness - there always light.
During post-production, even so we had already planned concept, I realized at one point that I want to change it in certain way. At first I wanted all photos to be in noir style. But now, while working on shot photos, I realized that it'll be better to stay closer to original in-game color scheme. Because works better with light we used on set.
In the end we decided to left noir look in our backstage, hope you'll like them )
THis backstage consists of photos shot during our first part of the photoshoot and photos shot during late second part. So, there will be photos from times when I lived in old apartments. Magic of the time, haha )
Small story from set.
It was really strange to shoot this version of 2B. Studio, where we shot our project, was a strange place. Random people were constantly sneaking around without a rest. Even talk with administrator didn't work. It was our first time, when we faced with such a bad service and attitude.
So at some point our nervousness passed on to our model and made her stiff until the end of the photoshoot.
Acording to our concept, we didn't want 2B to appear too sexualized as we used to in internet and like it was planned by her creator. As much as I know, he likes and appreciates fan-works (especially sexy ones).
In this situation I don't know how to proper react to this situation. At one point it was hard to focus and very disturbing with people sneaking around, but on another hand it gave us proper emotion on model's face and in body language. I guess, it is better to always find positive sides in every situation )
I'm getting back to work, hope photos from backstage will bring you joy and interest. There will be more photos in full backstage at the end of the month )
