At-tent-ive behaviour:
“Ha! What are you, a gypsy? Are you going to tell me my fortune?” Madam Shastra turned to see some spoilt young blonde attempting to ridicule her just as she finished setting up in her special guest star tent as part of this funfair who exclusively asked for her presence.
The graceful and classy woman merely smiled. “I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong tent, little girl.”
“Yeah right. People say you can hypnotize others or some nonsense?” The girl crossed her arms.
Madam Shastra stepped closer to the girl. “Tell me, child. What is your name?”
“Brianna, but how’s that gonna help?”
“Helps with identity.” Madam Shastra stepped around Brianna, circling her. “So, Brianna, would you like to see a magic trick?”
The blonde scoffed. “Alright, what fake act are you conjuring up this time?”
Madam Shastra merely said nothing and pulled out four coins from her pocket. “You say you don’t believe in what I do.” She said as she guided the girl to her table in front of the tent. “Why don’t you try and debunk me?”
People around seems to notice what’s going on and gathered around, wondering if the famous Madam Shastra is about to give a free performance.
Brianna scoffed. “Sure. I’ll figure out your little tricks in front this large crowd.”
“We’ll see who’s who and what's what young lady. Now .... let’s begin.”
