New Backers Steam Code

To activate the code, right-click the game in your Steam library, click properties, go to the BETAS tab, and then enter the code. Then select "backer" from the dropdown.
Pre-Emptive Troubleshooting from Drake:
"Then depending on their settings Steam will start downloading the build or they can click Install/Update where the PLAY button would normally be in their library If that still doesn't work (it should) then they can go to the LOCAL FILES tab and click "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES" which will force an update."

I just meant you can still play the public builds when they come out. The man up here was asking if we had to buy the steam version or receive a free key via patreon to my understanding. The steam version updates automatically with each build once you get the monthly backer code.

Like if we get the steam version and then use the code it gives permanent access to all future backer builds even if we drop on patreon? Or 'free' as in as long as we keep our 5 a month patreon we don't need the steam version too?
