Oh one last point about one of your statements. Another difference between big bara men and huge-dicked futa. Is that only people into that fetish are going to be interested in those, poly girls still look like you know. A woman or man and they will inevitability have those single sex scenes with the player character and to access those, you're forcing the poly shit onto the player when it's not necessary and has literally nothing to do with those scenes. Those scenes do not change at all, not what so ever if poly is optional.

Also to make the claim that a character being optional poly is a drastic change to that character, when it isn't as proven above. Would be one hell of a failure at writing a character since that character would have to be the most one dimensional character in existence. Which so far the character clearly isn't and this isn't an important part of the character or her personality. Making poly optional, is like having an optional blowjob scene. It allows player agency and doesn't force anything on them with no actual changes to the character.

Except you're not changing her sexuality. She wasn't a lesbian, she's still bi, if she was a lesbian that would be an actual argument because that would require a lot of work and writing to deal with, and no it isn't like futa. A character having a dick is actually a significant aspect to the character, it significantly changes the scenes of the character, you would have to drastically alter a futa to make dedicking one work. While the only thing that has to happen with poly characters, is there aren't scenes of them sleeping around. None of the examples you've given so far are comparable. No one is asking for the bara to be changed into a woman, all of the scenes of the POLY characters with the main character are literally just going to be normal sex with the main character. Whats being asked is that the shit where they fuck around doesn't happen as an option. Which doesn't change anything any thing significant about the character. You're putting an arbitrary high value on this poly thing and I can only assume it's due to you're offended that people disagree with your values. Also you're being disingenuous to claim that the first female companion that you can instantly get with you wouldn't be considered part of the harem. Any female that is attractive that you can recruit, would be recruited to be part of a harem. This is coc 2 not tits. So once again how would it be unreasonable when it changes nothing the characters personality or traits? Especially when you are allowing other characters to have it be optional. This is quite literally one of the most minor concessions you could do for coc fans where this really wasn't an issue in the previous game and on a topic that will be contentious.

Yes, it is unreasonable to change a character's entire sexuality to suit you. It is exactly the same as saying I'm forcing my fetishes on you by giving an NPC a dick you can't remove; personality and sexuality are as much a part of an NPC as their physical endowments.

When it adds nothing to the characters personality, story or gameplay, especially when you could still have that content with the characters while making everyone else happy. It's not like this is central to the sex scenes the characters are going to have. Is it actually that unreasonable to allow players have the agency of not having their harem shared? You even have other characters that are opt in. Of the current companions planned, two are poly, two are monogamous, and one is PC-centric with opt-in group content. If you don't like Cait's relationship type to the point that you want to stop supporting, that's your choice. I'm not going to change it.
