Added 2020-06-18 22:13:34 +0000 UTCAt this time when so many things are unclear and challenging, I don’t often know the best thing to do or say—but we can not let that stop us for continuing to act. I may not be sure exactly what to put up on my billboards, but I know I need to stand and have the intent to help cultivate change. This is a moral issue about equality and justice—things we should all understand the importance of. For many of us this is uncharted waters. I’ve never really been an activist before...but we each need to be. Supporting and encouraging each other is the best way to help us all to do more/do better. While doing so: kindness is key; remember we each have our own means, capacities, and challenges. We each need to continue to combat the racism that plagues our country while becoming more aware our own privileges and internalized racism. The BLM link in my linktree has a lot of resources of how to keep yourself informed and ways to best to proceed making optimal impact towards positive change.
