The end of a decade 2019

Hello Patrons

In just a few hours we will welcome 2020 and say goodbye to 2019. The year 2019 was mixed with highs and lows with a rather good start but sadly a bad ending for me. Sometimes life doesn't like to play after your rules but never give up and fight for your dreams. (Sounds really much like a generic quote I guess 🤣)

Overall I can say 2019 wasn't the worst year of my life and I hope it wouldn't get any worse next year (fingers crossed) but lets leave the negative things behind and clean up your mind and soul for the next decade.

I also hope there will be a new website for NSFW artists where we can share and interact with fans like we once used to do on tumblr. Sadly after the tumblr purge things went go downhill faster than the ms titanic ever could sink... Twitter is not the place I've expected to work and interact with fans, it's limitations, way to communicate and share artworks with others feels like a dark and lonely place.

I've lost many of my tumblr followers who couldn't get a new account on twitter and this makes me really sad. I miss the good old tumblr days where you could be the one you really wanted to be and no one else could tell you different. Twitter is too mainstream for this, if you don't post any kind of "trend stuff" you will be buried by all the other people.

Now away from the bad things and let's see the good days of 2019. I actually met a lot of nice people during this year (including you as my patron as well). 2019 had also a lot of great and not so great software improvements which I got used to. My personal highlight video game of the year is: "Hellblade Senuas Sacrifice" This game is really great and you should give it a try (currently it's on steam winter sale) I bought it first on my Nintendo Switch when it came out in march this year and then got it on PC too last week. All I can say about this game is: Amazing. simply amazing.

In terms of software, luxion released a new version of KeyShot which I got my hands on their demo version 9.0. At the moment I'm still uing KeyShot 8 which runs better (for now) on my hardware. I hope Luxion will do some improvements to version 9 so I'll consider doing an upgrade since version 9 has some pretty neat stuff I'd like to work around with.

Favorite music this year? Hmm this is always a little complicated... I don't listen to modern music much, sure when the radio is turned on I'm gonna listen to local radio stations but otherwise I don't buy much CD's nor using streaming services such as Spotify or Tidal. Whenever I hear something in the radio what I like, I'm gonna get it but my personal music for this year was "Survivor - Too hot to sleep" Well this album is pretty much close to 30 years now but hearing few songs of it for the first time really got me into it. Also who says that you only should listen to new songs, right? 😄

ok folks this is getting way too long now so I'm gonna keep things simple and short.

2020 will be a fresh start for my patreon and twitter page. I want to work on changes which I have planned during this year and 2020 will be the perfect attempt to finally fulfill these changes. I'll let you know more about these changes in a seperate note.

Same goes for your art packs - holidays were a bit busy but still nice and calm after all. I hope you had nice holidays too.

Anyways up here I made a collage of pictures which I were working on during the year. Theres actually many more pics if you coun't the STAR-PACK exclusives for example but this would be way too much to fit in a single pic.
