FB: Chapter 66 – Mega Armor, Mega Cheese
Added 2025-07-28 23:00:02 +0000 UTCI looked at the massive set of armor that had been procured. It was a basic set of mega armor that cost 10 platinum. Just the base set cost that much and it was like a tank. I moved it into my inventory and equipped it directly from my inventory.
Instantly I was stuck, unable to move. Well I could press against the armor, and it would shift slightly, but it wouldn’t move. The weight was immense. I unequipped the armor. “Good job,” I told Jacklyn.
“I have also procured two rings, since you said you already had a pendant and a weapon. Also got the largest pack possible with as little wight reduction as possible. Once you get to your destination, you can fill it up with rocks, put it on, then your weapon, then the armor,” she explained.
“That is maximum weight?” I asked.
“Yes. But there is no way you will be able to move or do anything,” she replied.
“I can see out of the helmet with the visor lifted up. That is enough,” I replied.
“The armor isn’t anything special, it is just stupidly big and heavy,” she said, and I nodded at this.
“That is fine. It is exactly what I needed.” After collecting everything that had been prepared by the guild, I signed some paperwork indicating they were personal expenses. The debt the guild owed me would be reduced by that amount.
I then traveled to the Gorzozin Mines, beneath the Gorzozin Mountain Range at the edge of the Human Empire. My plan was to block off some of the entrances to the mines by building some fortifications and then luring the monsters out of the mine to the entrance so I could kill them. There were hordes of level 80 to level 120 ants inside the mine.
Luring them out wasn’t that hard, but there were a lot. The good news was that they removed the corpses of their fallen comrades to feed their young to strengthen them. The bait to lure them out was an alchemic concoction that cost a platinum per bottle. The expense was immense and each bottle only lasted an hour.
The second problem was that the Gorzozin Mines had multiple exits. Once the ants were blocked off at one exit, they would come from another to encircle a target. That was the big reason I had never done this before. Now I had arranged it to be a guild event so everyone could get some levels. My guild had six Champions and I had assigned one to each nearby exit along with their team.
Their job was to prevent any ants from attacking me from behind or the side from the other exits. The rest of the guild was spread out in the mountain range to hunt down ants that would soon be emerging, with prizes given to the top teams and individuals. A good way to raise morale, increase the strength of the guild in large scale operations, and also benefit me my massively by boosting my level and getting a new title that I might equip in the future.
I got into position and deployed the bait. I then quickly equipped all my armor and gear, turning into a block of metal, facing the mine entrance. The only other person with me was Henry my secretary. His job was to feed me consumables during the battle as I called out for them. He had set up a step ladder behind me and climbed onto a massive shoulder puldron.
“Vomitatis!” I had to equip a Gestureless Casting skill shard, since I couldn’t move my hands. “Ass,” I called out and an ass fruit was placed near my mouth, and I quickly consumed it before using Vomitatis once again. I just kept spraying the entrance. The sticky nature of the skill slowed down the ants and they quickly died from the poison and acid.
After seven hours we stopped using bait, and the ants finally stopped emerging two hours after that. I had managed to kill 7,212 ants. That meant another level and more experience going into my skill experience pool. We returned to the camp that our guild had set up in the area.
There were teams intercepting people trying to get out here to bother us. Any players that weren’t members of our guild that exited from the three nearby towns and went beyond the beginner areas were killed. The player killers, or PKers that were part of the guild loved it. Targets were coming to them instead of them having to hunt down people.
It took 14 real world days to kill over 100,000 monsters. I also managed to gain 14 levels, pushing me up to level 72. I could only level up once a day, since I needed to equip all Luck based skill shards so the bonus stat points went to that stat instead of other stats. The extra experience would be used for skill shards. The level ups pushed my Luck stat up to 584 and 804 after all my bonuses. The rest of my stats had a base amount of 72 and were 81 after my bonuses.

+25% Weight Reduction
I did get the title I was aiming for as well. A shame that I couldn’t equip the title. I was stuck with 4 title slots, which was one more than anyone else. Why couldn’t God Slayer give me another title slot instead of adjusting the absolute level difference? A fifth title slot would have been preferable. I could depend on critical hits to kill high level opponents by getting around the absolute level difference.
Also, the Acolyte title track would only get better with time as I killed more and more followers of the dark gods. That was the title that currently had the most growth potential in my mind. The Champion title track would take time to progress since I needed to win more tournaments. The noble title track wouldn’t grant me an extra title slot as far as I knew. The poison title track wasn’t going to make any more progress either.
Divine poisons were beyond rare and the monsters who might use such a thing were over level 300. That meant they were stronger than Dark Saint Gamabuturon. The only one who might have something like that in their vault was the Human Emperor. He would probably insist that I consume the poison in front of him.
Legendary poisons created long term effects. Divine poisons crippled one aspect of a character. Like reducing their HP, MP, or SP to 10% of its original value for a long period of time. Like the legendary poisons, if one consumed all three types of divine poison, they would consume each other. That would grant me the title of Poison Master.
The really good titles were not easy to get unfortunately. And this wasn’t a title I could just pay to get either. Suffering from a divine poison for a long period of time would be a massive inconvenience. Going from 813 HP to 81 HP would eliminate any margin for error in combat.
Even against Dark Saint Gamabuturon and all the other monsters during the battle, I had taken some minor damage from spill over from attacks. It was only a couple HP worth of damage and it was countered by my healing potions, but it was still damage.
If only everything was as easy to cheese as the weight reduction title. The level ups gave me two more skill slots to use. But I needed a lot more weight reduction if I wanted to use Slice. Being able to deal massive amounts of damage in a single attack without having to worry about MP was never a bad thing.
At least killing the ants let me get enough skill experience to get several epic skill shards of Reduce Weight. I had enough spare money to purchase an orb of Floating Fire and then pay a skill smith to create the special legendary skill of Feather Weight. I also equipped three epic Reduce Weight skills. That gave me 28.2% weight reduction.
I then got Slice out of my inventory. I could lift the handle off the ground, but the tip was too heavy to get off the ground. I put the massive sword back into my inventory with a sigh. Even if I did equip the title, I would need about another 37% weight reduction on top of that.
That was how QAI made the game balanced. Powerful melee weapons and armor had weight requirements, which required skill shards, which stopped a person from specializing in something else. The same with armor. I wouldn’t be this invested into Slice, except that it was a unique weapon with an innate skill.
The number of such weapons that were known when I had gone back in time was less than a hundred. Anyone with such a weapon would either trade it for something as equally useful or respec their entire build around the weapon. No one would be trying to combine two builds together to have them work out. That was considered beyond extravagant due to the cost and time needed to invest in such a thing.
In reality it could be considered combining three builds. Luck, poison, and weight reduction. The problem was that weight reduction had no synergy with Luck or poison. While the rational part of me wanted to trade away Slice, there was another part of me that really wanted to develop a build that made it work.
I could tell it would be a huge hassle, but no one would be expecting it. If I pulled out this sword and rushed into melee while using Vomitatis, it would be near impossible to counter. I tried to think how I would counter such a build. Long range bombardment, or close in combat with a really good shield with the experience to back it up to handle all the attacks. A speed or entanglement build could work, but the problem would be closing the distance to deal damage without getting hit in return.
If a person turtled up, Slice would slam into their defenses and shred them with its damage multiplier. If I managed to get the damage up some more to pass along 10,000 damage in a single attack, it would even pass through a force shield that could be set up with an expensive consumable since it would exceed the defense of the consumable.
That wasn’t even taking into account the long range innate skill the blade was named after, Slice. That skill would easily put pressure on targets that kept their distance. I really wanted to be able to use the weapon.

No, nothing changed. You can check the stat sheets I have posted up and referenced while writing. They are updated a bit ahead of the current chapter.

2025-07-28 23:32:34 +0000 UTCHuh? Did you change it? I was pretty sure the God Slayer legendary tittle was giving her a +1 tittle slot or etc, and so she had got herself a second tittle who was giving these op and juicy +1 tittle slot, did I remember wrong? Or was it another thing but I was pretty sure she got a second tittle with this op +1 slot no? "I was stuck with 4 title slots, which was one more than anyone else." This line is what confuse me here, in my mind she got two more now than anyone else, did I brain bzz on that? Well I will check that tomorrow, time to go to bed, tftc
