Howling at the Moon

I had a problem at work. My manager didn’t like me, and I didn’t like him. If it had been a simple matter of mutual dislike, I wouldn’t have cared as much. But he was an asshole with a personal revenge against me. He treated everyone bad, but his hatred for me was something special.

His name was Marcus, and he was a real piece of sht. He took pleasure in assigning me the worst tasks and berating me when I couldn’t complete them to his impossible standards. He was also the most bigoted man I had ever met. While I could handle the workload and even his attitude, the way he treated my friend was too much.

My friend Sarah was a lesbian, and that was the root of Marcus’s hate for her. He was openly homophobic, treating her like a garbage. I couldn’t stand it. Sarah was one of my best friends I’d ever had, and to be honest... I was kinda in love of her...

You might ask why we didn’t quit the job... Well, the job paid better than most, and jobs in our field were hard to find. So, we put up with Marcus, trying to stay on his good side. But it was never enough. He always found something to criticize, no matter how hard we worked. Sarah and I leaned on each other to stay sane, helping each other whenever possible.

One night, I stayed late at work, determined to finish a project due the next morning. I’d been working on it for weeks, and I was determined to impress Marcus, just to shut him up for once. The office was eerily empty, and as I walked through a section under renovation, I heard a strange noise. I looked into the darkness and saw a shadow dart across the room. Probably a rat, I thought. The building was old and had a history of pest problems.

As the hours crept by, I made progress on my project. But I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being watched. I kept hearing faint sounds in the darkness, growing closer and more unsettling. I tried to ignore it, chalking it up to exhaustion. After all, I’d been working for hours...

At one point, I stepped outside to take a breath and saw the full moon glowing in the night sky. It was beautiful, but I had no idea how much it would soon change my life.

Back inside, I was nearing a breakthrough when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to see a tall man wearing a long coat and a hat. His face was obscured by a scarf, and his eyes were hidden in the shadows of his hat. Before I could react, he grabbed me from behind, his arm around my throat, dragging me backwards.

"What do you want from me?"

"I’m not here to hurt you," the man said calmly, his voice deep and soothing. "I was sent to help you."

I yelled, struggling to break free, and I felt a strange power surging through me... My body began to change. My muscles swelled, my hair grew longer and darker, and my skin turned a deep tan. I was transforming—my clothes ripping as my body shifted into that of a voluptuous woman. My groans of pain mixed with a strange sensation of pleasure as my body completed the transformation.

The man spoke again. "Your friend Sarah sent me. She knew you were in danger and wanted me to protect you. This was the only way to reveal your true self."

He released me and stepped back. When I turned to confront him, he was gone. I stood there, bewildered, looking down at my new body. I didn’t understand what had just happened, but one thing was clear—I felt powerful, more than ever before. Then my body returned to its old self...

I decided to head home, still in shock from the transformation. As I walked toward my car, I see Marcus, standing in the parking lot with his signature smug grin.

"Hey, what are you doing here so late?"

"None of your business, Marcus," I snapped, too tired to deal with his nonsense.

"Oh, come on. Just tell me. I won’t bite."

"Leave me alone, Marcus. I’m going home."

But Marcus wouldn’t back down. "Ah, come on. Don’t be such a baby. Tell me what you’re really doing here."

Before I could respond, Marcus pulled out a knife... "What the hell are you doing, Marcus?" I asked, stunned.

"I heard you’re getting a promotion... The president of the company is replacing me with you. I’m not letting that happen."

"You’re out of your mind!" I shouted.

"Maybe," he grinned, "but I’m not losing my job... not without a fight."

As Marcus lunged at me with the knife, I dodged, feeling a surge of strength and anger. The full moon shone down, and I felt the transformation start again. My muscles grew, my skin thickened, and fur sprouted from my body. I was becoming a werewolf woman again.

With one swift move, I grabbed the knife from Marcus and threw it aside. I punched him, sending him to the ground. He looked up at me in horror.

"What the hell are you?" he gasped.

I smiled, showing my sharp teeth. "I’m a werewolf woman. And if you ever threaten me or my friends again, you’ll regret it."

Marcus scrambled to his feet and ran off, terrified. I stood there, feeling the power coursing through me, knowing that I’d finally put an end to Marcus’s reign of terror...

The next day, he quit the job, and, to my surprise, I got the promotion. That’s when things really started to change for me. Everything felt different, but in a good way. Sarah and I got closer fast, and soon we were spending a lot of time together... As the moonlight bathed us, our fun turned a bit...hot and furry, as we both gave in to our animal instincts... It became a secret part of our relationship.
