Heyyy what’s up you guys, you know Who here with the Torching Wood comment of the week and some interesting things of note Shan when seeing the written word “Mum” “the proper way to spell mum” is that a personal attack lol Mom So Gwen without speaking to any of the missing people’s parents suddenly knows how/where and when they all disappeared, this is my problem with Chibnalls storytelling he doesn’t do the fine print any millisecond of thought about his plot and it’s left holier than laddered tights after a roll in the bushes. This story comes from the brain of Chris Chibnall and even though he states that "the issue of loss" is what drives the narrative and that he had "always wanted to write a story about people who go missing" you can still easily find gaping plot holes in his work. RTD states that this was one of the scripts that "paved the way" for future Torching Wood stories his intention being able to write Torchwood characters as "real people" with "families, feuds, aches and pains". Ahh okay I just learned that Eve Myles vetoed Gwen being called Mrs Williams because and I quote “an independent professional woman would want to keep her maiden name.” Shan if you got married would you want to keep your last name? Does anybody know your last name? I’m taking a wild guess and saying it’s Shan ‘Melinda Warren’ Dundee 😝 Ruth Jones (Gavin and Stacey fame, an excellent BBC show) stated that she was both "excited" and "scared" to appear in the series as it was "a very serious role" and comedy had previously been her "comfort zone". Hey one of those missing guys looks like me, but I’m not saying Who. 2.5 million viewers when it aired and that’s less than last week maybe it was all the screaming
