Just a quick life update

Don’t worry, not sick. Things will come out this week. I just thought I’d give a little update on myself if you’re interested.

Firstly, It’s my birthday on Friday (21st November) and I’m turning the big 30! I’m not celebrating it this weekend but I am celebrating it (see below).

Secondly, I have seen a psychiatrist a few weeks back and it was decided to pursue lithium for potential underlying bipolar. I had my blood test done and I’m all safe and have now officially started on lithium as of yesterday. I’m not too familiar with side effects but I don’t think it should affect my work at all.

NOW onto my Birthday plans!

I’m a pretty immature 29 year old and thought it would be a fun idea to give my 30th a theme. The theme I chose was childhood. BASICALLY everyone that is coming will need to dress as a child - I am wearing overalls with my hair up in two pigtails, curled of course! I even found some old jewellery I use to wear as a kid.

I have prepared goodie bags for people and I’ve even gotten a piñata! I always wanted a piñata as a kid but I never got one (I was pretty friendless growing up so I didn’t get to celebrate really). I’ve also found a cake maker that is baking me a vanilla powerpuff girls themed cake! I have found some fun goodies and made a pass the parcel (I’ve also included some small alcohol bottles to make it less dorky). I’m pretty excited about the event because I think the last time I actually celebrated my birthday was when I turned 18. PRETTY LONG TIME AGO.

I’m gonna have some fun kid party snacks like fairy bread (bread with butter and sprinkles on it - Aussie special), frog in a pond and some other stuff too.

I found a giant uno playing deck and think that might be fun to play, I only have a small house so its difficult to play some of the game ideas one might have like musical chairs, but hey if you got any simple ideas, lemme know!
