[CYAN BRAIN] Chapter 01 Test Demo Version (2023/05/31)

Dear followers, thank you very much for your continued support.

After much hard work, we are pleased to announce that the test version of Chapter 01 of [CYAN BRAIN] is now complete. We have uploaded the game content files so that our sponsors can play it.

Due to time constraints, the story and dialogue content within the game have not yet been implemented. We plan to update the scenario system in the game by next month.

This update includes the prologue map and related gameplay content, as well as new scenes, monsters, traps, and a boss.

The content to be added in the next update includes the following:

△ Dialogue and collectible items for Chapter 1 to deepen the understanding of the story

△ New NPC characters

△ Many more new weapons

△ Base system update, allowing various activities at the base

△ Addition of an animation viewing mode

Perhaps, the dev should make the checkpoints able restore the amount of ammunition the moment the player save the game. Also, in the map there are alot of vending machine, i suggest those machines can be used as some kind of health replenishment store/ammunition store also, and we can get some upgrade for the players like health/armor/speed...etc. Maybe adding a few more melee weapon such as combat axe or electric baton might be useful too, since i think the combat axe or an electric baton might suit with the atmosphere of the game too. I dont have much opinion about the checkpoint since maybe it was meant for the difficulty of the game. But to be able to get ammo for the rifle, i have to walk all way down the dark tunnel, passing by bunch of slasher and zombies, those things with long tongue that hang on the ceiling and instakill everytime i accidentally walk on their path? not really a good experience for sure, but maybe instead of just another rifle for ammo, maybe something more rewarding could worth all the effort!! Of course this is just my opinion, the demo was still an enjoyable experience, and quite challenging also. I hope the dev can have time and keep up with the great work!! (sorry for my gibberish english, it is not my mother tounge lol)

I am in the same boat with Belmont in terms of the ammo situation. It might be a case of the get good or skill issue. But you would need to do everything perfectly to progress. As ammo doesnt reset to last save and just stays before you died. I wouldn’t mind too much if that was the intended goal. But the enemies respawn as well doesn’t help the lack of ammo. If melee didnt feel soo weak then okay sure. Get close and risk damage to save ammo or use the ammo. Since we passively get free health kits over time. a melee run could be viable

There seems to be no collectibles ammo, and when the player dies and reload back at the previous save point, the ammo do not restore. The death scenes are very good as always, combat quite smooth for now but the knife in my opinion still too weak to defense against enemy since they has better reach and speed that the player. But overall, it is a very good update and i cant wait for more!! Keep up the great work
