As your pausing the episode and talking about your theory, I'm just going to say it's actually been awhile since I've seen this season, so I don't really remember if your right or not, so I guess we'll find out. Well your theory was wrong, but I was actually kind of hoping you were right. That's Cybil Shepard as Shawn's mother, I actually really didn't know her that much before this show, but my mom did. I watched Moonlighting, I finished the first season and didn't get further...I didn't hate it...yeah...a lot of people love it. I was looking at the ratings for the show, it had some really high ratings, not as much in the first season, but later seasons had a lot of people watching, one episode had 60 million viewers apparently. "I would never shoot a cat" I feel like you should have stopped their Lassiter. I really like Shawn and Gus's back and forth and their friendship, but Shawn is just sometimes not great at being a friend to Gus, showing up at his job, eating other people he works with's food. Christopher McDonald he's in a lot, I mean so is the other guy who tried to fire Gus, but Christopher McDonald really is in a lot. So they've got a new case, a haunted house apparently. Wow, Shawn is just making himself at home in someone else's house, someone else who just so happens to be the person who can make sure Gus keeps or loses his job. Well, Gus didn't run this time, but he did freeze. Why did Shawn have the cold breath thing happening? Shawn why are you messing with Gus again...wait, this whole haunting was you. Really, you made up a case and didn't come up with an answer, really Shawn. I thought this episode was pretty good and interestingly it had no actual case or murder, it was just Shawn making things up so Gus could keep his job. I also find it interesting that this entire time, Shawn believed his dad was the one who wanted the divorce and broke up the family and now he knows that wasn't the case, I kind of liked that moment when he was just looking at his dad at the end of the episode.
