2025-01-31 05:58:27 +0000 UTCDespite being a clipshow, I actually like the conclusion of this episode. In particular the fact that, it would have been really easy for someone like Woolsey just a season or two ago, to turn up during a crisis like this and say, "I'm going to represent us!" and then have him make things exponentially worse. Instead, this episode was completely to his credit. He's an accomplished attorney, as a well a bureaucrat who knows how to make the system work for him. I always enjoy getting to season 5 in part because of Woolsey's arc; and Bob Picardo is just fantastic at everything. I remember seeing a random clip on YouTube of him in a scene on a series I've never seen and knew no context for the episode, but he owned that scene. it's such a double edge sword though, because it takes so long to get to this point with this character; and this being Atlantis' last season, but also the fact we had to lose Elizabeth and Sam to get here...

2025-01-31 05:08:15 +0000 UTCThe DHD in the Atlantis control room had a special control crystal, which was the only one capable of dialing Earth. So, even with a new gate, so long as the control crystal survived they're fine. The gate room may have been heavily damaged, but it's still plausible the control crystal is still there. I wouldn't put it past Rodney to have found a way to clone it either; though going that route I'd expect more support that he had or could do that.

2025-01-31 03:31:13 +0000 UTCAh.. I see you figured out exactly when I found out I had numbered the episodes incorrectly. Clever.. Quite clever. (If only I had mastered such brilliance, touchΓ©) You see, she recorded 5x13 (thinking it was 5x12), her sweet innocent self then uploaded it AS. 5x12.. I then zipped it as SwirlCity512, uploaded it and then proceeded to look at some of the recording only to figure out that it was in fact 5x13 after which I informed her of the buffoonery that had taken place I renamed the uploaded zip file accordingly thinking I had solved the issue, ofcourse completely overlooking the fact that the zip file named SwirlCity513 STILL. had a file in there named SGA512 Not only am I not as perfect as people thought me to be.. It would appear I'm also just a smidge stupid

Some huge dork (it was me) accidentally mislabeled this weeks episode numbers which is why 5x13 was watched before 5x12. I know.. I know ...It must be shocking and quite world altering to find out that ya boi is not perfect ..But I never claimed to be. Sooooo.. If you think about it ..It's really all on you.
