Yeah I think I get what you're saying in that these days a lot of the main characters seem to all share the same views on every topic, as opposed to all having separate complex views about different things. I don't know if this is the reason but it just comes across to me as lazy writing. Like they can't be bothered to have different people think differently so they all do the same thing. The "superhero girl" is adorable and Alex does a great job at dealing with her and with what is a very complex situation for him to be presented with. Yeah that was a dirty trick from Derek to interrupt their date. At least nobody got beat up I suppose. If Izzie is indeed coming back, I'm glad Burke is at least taking a leave of absence. At least someone that's responsible for that whole situation has to stop being a doctor for a bit... I'm not sure George should be legally allowed to show the guy the dead bodies? That feels like it should be some sort of crime. Even if it was just his donor that would be bad enough, but he showed him another random body too. I also agree with Callie that George shouldn't have convinced the guy to not have surgery. It's not George's decision to make. I love that Callie told him how it is though and to stop being a toddler about her living at the house. I'm still so done with George. I just can't with him always complaining about how shitty his life is when there's so much going on with everyone else that always seems to dwarf what he's dealing with.

I get what you were trying to say at the beginning that we don't have morally grey characters anymore that the audience is 'allowed' to sympathies with (at least i think that is what you were trying to say).
