I suppose, if you have a large team of invisible people working in a vault - or any enclosed space - you'd want to decloak, even partially, so you wouldn't keep bumping into each other.... Seems like a missed opportunity for the Thumbnail to have a screen shot of Superman over a photo of just your empty chair. It was an odd choice to have Lois split hairs over there "really" being an invisible man. Like, come on Lois, they were actually invisible; it doesn't matter that it was done using technology. I could understand the smarm if it was a total hoax; like if we never actually saw stuff floating, just always from the supposed invisible people's POV or just off camera and then it turned out they were never float or invisible, but maybe they were doctoring the video or the people being robbed were in on it or something. Then Lois could say, "I told you so." it'd be like her say, "I told you there were no such thing as leprechauns. He was just a little person from Ireland, with the technological ability to conjure gold and ride rainbows. But that doesn't make him a leprechaun...." I only vaguely recalled parts of this episode. I more or less remembered the dream sequence. A lot of that was oddly executed - I think a lot of this series can best be explained as, "it was the 90s..." The early 90s especially were just fucking weird. Pretty much what you expect of society after so many people doing cocaine in the 80s... Superman struggling to cope with sudden celebrity is an interesting concept and I kind of wish it was explored more. Like, that would be a hell of a weakness for Superman, if he would be susceptible to things like, panic attacks/anxiety, depression, PTSD. Even the proverbial man of steel could be brought down by his own mental health. And there are aspects of that in the comics, some well written, others not so much. Superman walking across the country. Pretty much the core premise of Injustice and to some extent Kingdom Come. But it's mostly just teased and not explored in-depth or in a healthy way.

2024-10-09 01:18:57 +0000 UTCThe fake Invisible Men weren't dressed as "Negative Man," they're dressed like Claude Rains' (a silver ager Hollywood actor) who portrayed the iconic The Invisible Man in the 1933 movie of the same name. In that movie, Rains' character was often wrapped in bandages, to allow him to have a physical, visual presence onscreen for many scenes; which has subsequently become the quintessential look for the Invisible Man for generations after and ostensibly inspired the design for Negative Man, who didn't appear in comics until 30 years later.

2024-10-04 05:17:06 +0000 UTCI just skimmed through, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the audio. The reaction and the episode are synced up. Aside from the fact that it's an older show and thus the episode audio being a bit meh, it seems fine.

2024-10-04 03:28:08 +0000 UTCI like this episode kinda delving into Clark dealing with the fame of Superman even for a little bit you don’t really see that in other hero stuff I mean sure the fame goes to there head like maybe Flash depending on the writing & I like seeing how much Lois wants Superman to just talk to her after one meeting. Even in other iterations Lois is attracted to Superman a lot after that first meeting initially in every iteration
