2025-02-04 18:26:46 +0000 UTCWell, I'm glad you asked. Back in the 1990s, DC introduced Conner Kent-- Superboy 2. His origin story has been fluid, but the one that has been most common is that he is a clone made from the combined DNA of Superman and------- drum roll--- Lex Luthor! So, yes, in a sense, Clark and Lex had a baby together! Also, I did not know that when I wrote the story so I guess them kissing is a bit kinkier than I intended, Connor Kent's outfit-- red pants and a spikey leather jacket-- looked exotic even in the 1990s, but I find it kind of retro ironic and decided to go with it though he sometimes also wore blue jeans and a t-shirt. At the time some of DC's people crowed that his look was meant to make Superboy cool to a new generation, which only confirmed comic book creators don't know cool. Also in one of the more offbeat storylines, he once lived in a place called Gemworld which wss a sort of girly fantasy world. One more side note. I did not know Connor had greater resistance to kryptonite when I wrote the story. A kindly volunteer at Fictionmania added that element to the story for me when posting it! Even one more side note. 2025-02-04 11:22:53 +0000 UTCWhen we are at it... I have some disturbing questions: The guy with a leather jacket, is he Superboy? He looks as a 60th rockers. I assumed Superboy was Superman when he was a teenager and I have already seen him wearing the standard Superman costume. Also, could you explain why we have a younger and an older version of Superman interacting together? Time loop? Else?
