The Inflation Royale (Teaser)

After filling in Nero and Tara on the details, the group of 4 ventured from the city into the open aired beach to reconvene and make a new strategy. Stephanie was back on her feet and stayed perpetually close to Wyatt as they discussed their next course of action.

"Ok, first things first, it was thanks to Bubblicious' team that we wound up in that scenario to begin with, so we need to keep an eye out for them..." Wyatt began to say before being cut off by Tara's concerned voice.

"Uhh... you mean that Bubblicious over there?" The three looked over to where Tara was pointing and sure enough, Vix, Colleen, Bubz, and a monstrously well endowed reindeer strided over to the squad with inflation weapons drawn.

"Hey sweeties~ I figured you two would get out of your bubble trouble, but not so soon~" Bubblicious' teasing voice wafted through the air that weighed down on Wyatt like stepping into a terribly humid room. "You've met Colleen and Vix here, so let me introduce you to Roxanne!~"

"These are the shorties you trapped oh so snuggly here Colleen? Heh... they sure look the part..." The reindeer Bubz called Roxanne stated with a hand on her exceedingly wide hip. Wyatt couldn't really say she was wrong either, with Wyatt's drastic change in temperment at their approach and Stephanie going from having her arm hooked around Wyatt's to brandishing her scythe and stepping in front of him like a small bodyguard.

Wyatt pulled the bolt back on his Gum Suppressor, back to back with Nero, who nocked an airrow into his bow, Tara and Stephanie were circling around them with a Dig Dugger and a Pop Sickle respectively. On Bubblicious' side, Colleen had a large bubble wand stood up beside her, Vix still had the black and white firearm that Wyatt could only call an air cannon thus far, Bubz had a weighty looking vibrant pink bazooka slung over her shoulder, and Roxanne had a red double barrel that was almost comically small for her that Wyatt hadn't seen before.

Each team began to stare each other down as the sun shone high in the sky, like a stereotypical high noon quickdraw you'd see in a western movie. The beach expanse was silent and motionless, even as the wind made tiny dunes in the sand they clung to, no one took their eyes off the prize.

After a good 15 seconds of staring each other down, Vix led the assault by quickly raising her air gun and firing a blast at the grouped together team, which Nero quickly dissipated with a well place Airrow, causing the air blast to peter out as the teams split up in their violent conflict.

Wyatt paid no mind to the rest of his team as he ducked and rolled out of the way of the excess air, shaking the sand out of his fur as he began to pepper Vix with bubble shots. She was quick on her feet however, and managed to avoid Wyatt spraying her area with bubbles.

Wyatt scoffed and kicked up sand to mask his retreat as he flipped out the magazine in his gun for a fresh one... but not before inhaling the sweet scent of the bubble bullets. He scanned the scene around him, seeing Stephanie's lithe, nimble body dash around Roxanne, who was clearly having trouble keeping an eye on the agile wolf. Tara was behind enemy lines, shooting at Colleen, who was showing impressive evasive maneuvers.

Nero, however, was showing trouble as he was fighting Bubz, Nero nocked another airrow and let it loose, but it whistled right past Bubz as she raised her Bubblegum Bazooka and aimed at Nero, it was only then that Wyatt realized that Nero's suit had been inflated to the point where there was no possible way he could avoid the blast directed straight at him! Unless...
