Bubbles in Area Zero (Pt. 2) (Teaser 1)

"W- Who do I want to go with me..? Isn't that a bad idea to let me decide?" Meowscarada asked with a concerned expression as she looked at all the other experienced investigators.

"Nonsense, we've worked with each other for years, so no matter who you choose, the remaining two will be able to work together just fine..." Meowstic stated as she folded her arms.

"O- Ok then, I'll pair up with... Primarina and Sylveon..!" Meowscarada said as she shyly sauntered over to the two of them, before Sylveon abruptly snagged Meowscarada in her ribbons.

"Yay! I'm glad you chose me!" Sylveon excitedly said as she nuzzled her cheek into Meowscarada's, who could do nothing since she was tightly bound in Sylveon's ribbons. "Alright! Me, Primarina, and the newbie will go lower down to take samples and ensure safe routes around the caves. Braixen! You and Meowstic go find the Espeon that we saw float away! They may have some vital takes on what the bubble and the liquid is like!"

"Roger that! Stay safe you three!" Braixen said as she trailed off with Meowstic in tow. It seemed that despite Sylveon's childlike nature, she was a careful strategist that the other three respected.

"Alright you two! Time to dive deeper!" Sylveon chittered as she wandered down a path to an opening by the bubble fluid.

"Uhh... Can you put me down now..?" meowscarada asked, still wrapped up in Sylveon's ribbons.

"Nope! I'll carry you down so you can save your strength!" Sylveon said in a more teasing tone than anything.

"B- But I'm able to walk myself do- never mind..." Meowscarada gave up trying to reason with Sylveon and simply let herself be carried down.

When they arrived at the bottom, Meowscarada immediately noticed that the rocky platform they were standing on was strangely large, almost like an arena... Though she brushed it off as just her imagination and continued exploring.

"Here we are..." Sylveon said as she scooped up a little bit of the liquid with a special bowl-shaped light screen, sealing it off and handing it to Primarina.

"Interesting... even with no oxygen, it's still bubbling quite candidly... Theoretically, it means that if someone were to be submerged in this, it's constant production of oxygen could keep them alive, rather than have them drown..." Primarina stated as she sloshed the sealed fluid around. "I'm gonna call this stuff 'bubblefluid', what do you think?"

"Sounds good for now, but now that we have our samples, what should we do..?" Meowscarada asked as she turned around and only noticed then that Sylveon had vanished... "S- Sylveon..?"

"WE HAVE TROUBLE!" Sylveon came barreling out of a hidden tunnel, taking position in front of the two other investigators as an Iron Valiant and a Roaring Moon came out of the hole Sylveon had just passed through. "These are some strong paradox pokemon, stay on your guard you two!"
