2025-08-02 23:50:30 +0000 UTCMy vote is on the first 6. What was frustrating to me was that early on I knew what the challenge was, while Kaius clearly didn't. I was rushing through the chapters just to find out if he'd figured it out. The whole first part feels like a long exploration of something that, to the reader, is very clearly NOT the trial. After he figures out that the trial is persistence through death, it's much more entertaining. The frustration for me was that he was missing the point and he kept missing it for a number of chapters despite it being clear to the reader.

2025-04-25 15:06:58 +0000 UTCif you've subbed through the patreon ios app at all since they made apple store purchases manditory- but they only made it a thing in november of last year (though there might have been a roll out that delayed it for me? i've only noticed a section of IOS income in the last few days), so any subs you made before then are unaffected. If you didn't use apples integrated in-app purchases, you're fine - it's since they made that mandatory for all apps on the app store that it became an issue If in doubt, just go to the web page and unsub>resub straight away

2025-03-05 00:45:23 +0000 UTCJust to confirm, you can unsubscribe on the web, and immediately resubscribe, and Patreon will not charge you until your normal renewal date. Did that for 8 or 9 authors today, no double charges.
