My husband was saying doxing should be illegal (my husband the so called AnCap, hahahaha) and I used this exact situation to demonstrate why it should AT least be on a case by case basis... I remember having a talk with my therapist a few months ago where I told her the only way I'd ever be able to let go of the rage I hold for the people that abused me is to see them bruised, bloodied and begging me for mercy.
