2024-07-07 20:03:38 +0000 UTCMy understanding is that ZZS was never supposed to find out because that would’ve caused anxiety or worry or the want to help and he needed to be in the best condition for the nail removal to go well which I fully understand but my problem with this is sure don’t tell ZZS but why wouldn’t they tell JBY and WX?! They were the one’s who allowed him to leave and ultimately find out that his man was about to be “killed” like they should’ve known, it wouldn’t have messed anything up. But also given how many people did know I’m upset no one found ZZS and told him after the fact because SS was there, CL was there, YBY was there why didn’t they stay with him after he fainted and explain everything to him when he woke up?? He woke in some random inn to men slandering his husband like??? Anyways no worries abt the recording🥰It’s late night on a Saturday but Monday still feels to far😩I’m very ready to cry with you even though it’ll hurt a lot🥲again Ty sm for everything you do❤️

2024-07-07 06:17:28 +0000 UTCWell watching 35 right after this might now have been the best of ideas :'D I have many things to say about this episode, but most are in anger xD I just hate the fake death plot, and there is no reason for it to exist... The Fake Death Plot would have been somewhat fine, if there wasn't a major plothole / characterization flaw in there. Now originally Zishu was never supposed to find out about any of this, he was supposed to stay with Wu Xi and Beiyuan and rest, heal from his torture / imprisonment. He was not supposed to be at the cliffs and see Chengling do what he did or see Kexing's body. Which, fine, I understand why Kexing would have maybe not wanted to worry him etc. My problem is the fact that no one after the fall, or seeing the body, thought to be like "Hey, maybe we should tell him? You know, the dude who already tried to slowly torture himself to death with 7 nails?!" A-Xiang and Weining would have been redeemebly in this plot, because neither of them was supposed to find out either - they were actually supposed to stay with Zishu at Beiyuans house - but then there was somehow time for those two to find Kexing and the others, find out about the plan and activly be involved in it when the conference rolls around??? - and neither of them thought to tell Zishu either? Like Wen Kexing saw Zishu, he saw that Zishu saw him get needled with presumably poison and then fall of a cliff - the one person who probably knows Zishus mindset best... As you can see, i think this is the only thing i absolutely dislike in the show, especially because i know book-kexing would have never :'D Reminder: The hairpin was given by Wen Kexing to Zhou Zishu after he was rescued. Fun fact about hairpins in ancient china: When engaged to be married, Chinese women would take the hairpin from their hair and give it to their male fiancé. After the wedding, the husband would then return the hairpin to his newly-wed wife by placing it back in her hair.
